Who can join?

AHDA consists of a membership by companies that represent over 90% of the value of the industry. Additionally manufacturers of animal medicines or products allied to animal health and wholesale companies can join. These companies have a special class of membership known as Foundation Partners with over 40 member companies. Membership is open to members of RPS (Royal Pharmaceutical Society) and vet practises employing SQPs. AHDA members all benefit from a sizeable range of members benefits to help reduce business running costs, SQPs enjoy free membership of the Moredun Institute ensuring access to the latest independent research information, can attend AHDA hosted CPD training for SQPs for free and can save money when attending the AHDA Conference.

Any business prescribing and distributing POM-VPS or NFA-VPS medicines can join AHDA. There is a one-off membership fee to those new members regardless of business size at £99 + VAT. Subscriptions in following years are related to that business animal health turnover.
